Soft and easy for shorter runs

The Cloudsurfer 2 is a comfortable, softer-riding neutral trainer for shorter daily runs and walking. It is a comfort shoe rather than a long-run or tempo tool, and it is happiest between roughly three and six miles.

Volume is decent and accommodates swelling, and testers reported no heel lift. Lockdown is on the minimal side, though, because the upper is flexible and ungusseted without much structure. The version 2 tongue is thick and does not lie flat, which several testers found awkward under the laces. Standard widths only, which is the main limitation for wide feet.
