The Cloudflow 5 is On's uptempo trainer: firm, snug and quick-feeling, aimed at tempo work and marathon-pace running rather than easy plodding.

The midfoot hold is snug and performance-oriented, as an uptempo shoe should be, with a firm heel counter and minimal collar padding that still contains the heel securely. Both the midfoot and forefoot run on the narrow side and toebox height is low, which is part of why it suits shorter, faster efforts more than all-day long runs. No wide width is offered.
